Full Job Description

Cal Med Physicians and Surgeons, Inc. is seeking an experienced executive assistant to perform a variety of high-level administrative tasks in support of the Chair, Department of Surgery, attending physicians and resident physicians at our office located within Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton, Ca.

Candidate with experience in the healthcare field is strongly preferred, with a minimum of two (2) years of experience as an executive assistant or equivalent.

The candidate's typical duties will include, but not limited to: maintaining the chair's calendar, organizing and scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements, filling out expense reports, compiling reports as directed, keeping and maintaining files, logs and records, preparing agenda and meeting materials, screening and directing phone calls and emails and in-person visitors, sorting and distributing mail and ordering supplies. Additionally, candidate will assist attending surgeons, resident physicians and allied health staff with a variety of tasks as directed.

This position requires the applicant to be detail-orientated, able to adapt to ever-changing policies and procedures, must meet deadlines, highly efficient in both written and oral communication, and work effectively with counterparts/fellow administrative staff.

This is a full-time, on-site position; this job is administrative in nature and is not a medical assistant position.
