As a Facilities Technician (Industrial Gases & Cryogenics) at Impulse, you will apply your hands-on expertise to support the installation, maintenance, and operation of critical infrastructure across our facilities. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring a safe, reliable, and efficient environment that enables our teams to build and test cutting-edge technologies.

Install, maintain, and modify industrial gas and cryogenic distribution systems
- Install process piping, valves, regulators, and associated system components
- Read and interpret schematics, drawings, and P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) to execute system installations
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair medium- and high-pressure gas and cryogenic systems
- Perform pressure testing, leak checking, and system verification to ensure safe and reliable operation
- Maintain accurate documentation, including schematics, maintenance records, inspection reports, and operating procedures
- Collaborate with engineering, facilities, and operations teams to support infrastructure projects and equipment installations
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with applicable safety standards, regulations, and building codes, including OSHA, NFPA 55, and ASME B31.3
- Support remote operations and infrastructure activities at the Mojave test site as required

High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 3+ years of hands-on experience working with medium- and high-pressure industrial gas and cryogenic systems
- Strong ability to read and interpret P&IDs, schematics, and technical drawings
- Experience with cone-and-thread fittings, orbital welding, tube flaring, Swagelok® compression fittings, and pressure testing procedures
- Demonstrated troubleshooting and fault-finding experience on medium- and high-pressure gas systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to safe work practices
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

5+ years of demonstrated experience supporting aerospace, propulsion test, or advanced manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with cryogenic liquids such as liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen, or liquid methane
- Demonstrated knowledge of process instrumentation such as gas detection, regulators, and process instrumentation
- Demonstrated experience with clean-room or high-purity gas systems
- Welding certifications or specialized tubing installation training
- Working knowledge of applicable codes and standards related to industrial gas and cryogenic systems
- Ability and willingness to travel to and work at the Mojave test site as required

Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of stock options, and access to medical, vision & dental coverage as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan.
