Full Job Description

What to Expect

Tesla's mission is to build a world of amazing abundance, and Tesla Energy plays a critical role. We are seeking a creative and experienced Global Content Producer, Residential Energy where you will be responsible for both creative and logistical aspects of video projects for Residential Energy solutions including Powerwall, Solar Panels, Solar Roof, Virtual Power Plant, Tesla Electric, Home Charging and Tesla App. From customer case studies, product launch videos, and technical educational content, you'll oversee all aspects of video production from concept through filming — developing creative briefs, aligning stakeholders (NA, APAC, EMEA), sourcing and managing external production agencies, and ensuring every project is delivered on time and aligns with the Tesla brand and mission.

What You'll Do

Lead the production of compelling visual narratives that simplify complex energy technology and drive adoption, craft production plans and schedules for product launches and customer stories to ensure internal and external stakeholders are aligned and up to date on project progress
Identify and scout locations, manage shoot schedules, budgets, shot lists, and call sheets
Coordinate interdepartmentally between internal marketing, product, sales and engineering teams and external production partners to secure product access, legal clearances, and customer participation
Lead on-set shoots, providing real-time feedback to ensure video and audio meet creative and brand standards. Ability to operate professional cameras, lighting, and audio systems as needed
Develop creative concepts and scripts while ensuring that the final assets delivered are fully aligned with the brand and stakeholders
Source, evaluate, onboard, and manage external production houses, freelance crews, and post-production specialists as needed

What You'll Bring

Degree in Film, Production, or a related field, or 7+ years equivalent experience
Experience developing video concepts from preproduction and storyboarding to planning shoot logistics to on-set direction and post-production support (editing a plus)
Exceptional organization and process management, ability to juggle concurrent timelines, and creative demands
Excellent communication skills and ability to work interdepartmentally with marketing, product, engineering, design, external vendors and stakeholders
Strong creative vision with the ability to translate briefs into compelling visual content across various formats (social, long-form, web)
Experience with camera operation, lighting, and audio equipment
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Davinci Resolve and drone operation is a plus

Expected Compensation

$88,000 - $162,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
