We are seeking an Experienced Real Estate Paralegal with deep experience in commercial & residential real estate closings to join our firm. This is a critical role supporting sophisticated, high‑value transactions—and an opportunity to report to and work with a state-wide real estate team.
If you are confident managing complex closings, thrive in a fast‑paced legal environment, and want to work at a firm that values work‑life balance as much as excellence, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do

- Managing commercial and residential real estate transactions state-wide from contract through post‑closing with minimal supervision, and assisting others with similar matters
- Preparing and reviewing closing documents, settlement statements, and loan documentation for attorney review
- Coordinating with attorneys, clients, lenders, title companies, and opposing counsel to ensure smooth and timely closings
- Reviewing title, surveys, UCC searches, and organizing due diligence materials
- Tracking critical dates, closing requirements, and post‑closing deliverables
- Serving as a go‑to resource and steady presence on a high‑performing team
- Implementing firm policy regarding anti-fraud and ethical closing requirements
- Will also support commercial zoning applications with research and preparation for quasi-judicial hearings
This role is ideal for someone who takes ownership, anticipates needs, and brings both experience and judgment to the table. This role requires occasional travel to Morris James Headquarters Office in Wilmington, DE. Travel expenses paid.

- Proven ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously without missing details
