Senior Brand Growth Strategist

Description:

This is an exciting and key role in MediaOne! You will be the strategic lead for both clients and MediaOne’s marketing - working alongside the Business Development, Creative and Digital Performance teams to grow business and guide clients. Overall, you will help grow client’s and MediaOne’s business.

The right person will have a great mix of digital advertising & marketing expertise particularly in programmatic, Google ads (search and display), paid social media (mainly Facebook/Instagram), video advertising, content marketing, influencer marketing and analytics including GA4. On top of this, it’s very important to understand the business of our customers and how the advertising drives customer’s goals.

In this role, you will:

Become an expert in MediaOne’s product offerings, understanding the best strategic marketing mix to offer new and existing clients.
Strategize and guide MediaOne’s external marketing along with leadership
Identify opportunities to introduce new solutions that align with market needs.
Get to know key existing clients inside and out, to grow their accounts and learn what we can offer other clients that work best.
Develop key differentiators that MediaOne can go to market with.

The selected candidate will report to the Chief Digital Strategist (Managing Partner) with the opportunity to grow a team.

To excel in this role, you must be a self-starter that can work independently and as part of a team. The role will consist of approximately 30% product expertise and creating strategies for clients; 30% partnering with the Business Development team on client proposals and pitches, 20% marketing (working with the creative team to bring ideas to life); 20% learning and industry-focused whitespace. This position is for a very adaptive and dynamic person with an entrepreneurial spirit as MediaOne is a quickly growing company.

Responsibilities

Partner with Business Development team to be the expert on sales calls and other meetings
Lead and guide MediaOne’s marketing to develop and bring ideas to life from content generation to videos with internal and external resources
Help create new products and upgrade existing products
Leading or participating in regular brainstorms and strategy sessions.
Develop case studies and compelling marketing insights

Skills

6+ years of experience in digital marketing at an agency, media company or for a brand
Managed multiple client accounts as the lead person
Great PowerPoint or other presentation skills
Experience with how ad campaigns run, best performing channels and explaining this info to clients
Consumer of news and information about trends
Strong writing and grammar skills
Excellent multi-tasker who is organized and detail-oriented
Desire to work in a fast-paced team environment
Creative problem solver
