Digital Marketing Manager, Demand Generation

Company Overview

Position Summary

TFG is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager whose primary responsibility is to generate new, qualified inbound leads that convert to revenue. This role owns digital demand‑generation execution and is directly accountable for contributing to sales pipeline and revenue goals.

This is not a branding, communications, or general marketing role. Success is measured by lead volume, lead quality, conversion to opportunity, and downstream sales impact.

Role Purpose

The Digital Marketing Manager plans, executes, and optimizes digital marketing programs designed to fill the sales pipeline. This role works in tight coordination with sales to ensure leads meet defined qualification standards and support bookings targets.

The position requires hands‑on ownership of campaign execution, performance tracking, and continuous optimization based on funnel results.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation and Revenue Support

Own inbound lead‑generation strategy and execution with clear monthly and quarterly lead targets
Build and run campaigns that support defined sales goals, target accounts, and priority industries
Deliver marketing‑qualified leads that meet agreed‑upon sales acceptance criteria
Continuously improve conversion from visitor to lead, lead to MQL, and MQL to opportunity

Campaign Execution and Marketing Automation

Plan, build, and manage lead‑generation campaigns across email, paid search, paid social, content syndication, and landing pages
Execute campaigns end to end in HubSpot, including forms, landing pages, workflows, lead scoring, and automated email sequences
Maintain and optimize lead capture paths to maximize conversion and database growth
Ensure leads are routed correctly and on time to sales

Sales Alignment and Pipeline Management

Partner closely with sales leadership to align marketing programs with pipeline needs and revenue targets
Participate in regular pipeline and performance reviews
Adjust targeting, messaging, and spend based on sales feedback and close‑rate performance
Take ownership of issues related to lead quality, volume shortfalls, or conversion gaps

Analytics, Reporting, and Optimization

Track and report on performance metrics including traffic, conversion rates, CPL, MQL volume, SQL conversion, and campaign ROI
Use HubSpot and Google Analytics to identify drop‑offs and optimization opportunities throughout the funnel
Provide clear, actionable performance reporting to leadership focused on revenue impact
Make data‑driven decisions on channel mix and campaign prioritization

Content, SEO, and Conversion Optimization

Manage digital content used for lead capture including landing pages, gated assets, emails, and website updates
Conduct keyword research and SEO optimization to increase qualified inbound traffic
Optimize forms, CTAs, messaging, and page structure to improve conversion rates
Evaluate content based on contribution to pipeline, not impressions or engagement alone

Required Skills and Experience

Must Have

Hands‑on experience driving inbound lead generation tied to sales outcomes
Demonstrated experience working directly with sales teams and pipeline goals
Strong working knowledge of HubSpot including workflows, lead scoring, segmentation, and reporting
Proven ability to analyze funnel performance and improve lead‑to‑opportunity conversion
Experience with paid search, paid social, email marketing, and landing‑page optimization
Comfort being accountable for numeric performance and adjusting strategy when goals are missed

Technical Requirements

HubSpot marketing automation expertise
Google Analytics and digital campaign reporting
Google Ads and paid social platforms
Working knowledge of SEO and conversion rate optimization

Education and Background

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
2 to 5 years of experience in demand generation, digital marketing, or marketing operations with measurable lead results

Sales receives a steady flow of qualified inbound leads
Marketing programs contribute directly to pipeline growth
Conversion rates improve quarter over quarter
Revenue targets are supported by predictable inbound performance
