Full Job Description

Mulesoft Developer

Accounting Seed is a rapidly growing accounting software company that sells a leading edge application on the Salesforce.com platform. We are the fusion of two disciplines: Information Technology and Accounting.

We are in immediate need of a Mulesoft Developer to join our Product Development Team.

We are looking for a Mulesoft Developer to work as part of an agile product development team, interacting with SME’s, the QA team, the Development team, and the Release Manager. You need to be a charismatic, engaging team player able to handle multiple priorities.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Create prototypes for new solutions based on business requirements and user feedback
Communicate project status to other team members, including managers and stakeholders
Review existing code and making improvements or suggest new solutions to problems
Develop new features or functionality for an application based on specifications provided by the client or company
Test applications after development is complete to ensure they function as intended
Create and maintain documentation of software development processes and procedures for future projects
Review project scope and create estimates of costs and time required to complete projects
Maintain current knowledge of emerging technologies that may impact your field, such as artificial intelligence (AI) or big data analytics
Communicate with clients to clarify requirements and gather feedback on progress

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, information technology, software engineering or related field
Experience with data integrations on the Salesforce platform
Mulesoft Certified Developer – Level 1 and Level 2 is a plus
A minimum of 3 years experience as a product owner in an agile environment.
Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
Ability to translate complex business processes into specific requirements for a software development team to build test plans and code from.
Excellent documentation skills providing exact details in a concise, logical, unambiguous format and language.
A track record of following through on commitments
Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills.
