Operations Coordinator, Client Services

About this role:
This is a cross-functional position that requires strong attention to detail, an ability to multitask, and impeccable organizational skills. Our ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills, including that they listen actively, interpret fairly and intelligently, ask questions curiously, and action accordingly.

Your job as an Operations Coordinator is to support the Client Services teams to ensure workflows are functioning, and that deliverables are being completed on time, in scope, and within budget. If any of the above are blocked or not happening efficiently, then it is your responsibility to support the teams in problem solving and implementing a solution.

Notably, we are currently implementing an ERP system. At the start, your primary work will be supporting this transition, alongside our ERP implementation team until we've stabilized.
This role will report directly to the Vice President of Client Services.

Responsibilities:
Coordination:

Monitor and support day-to-day project operations
Report to key stakeholders, keeping them informed on progress
Support our company-wide goal to continuously improve operational processes and workflows
Maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation
Flag and escalate issues before they become problems

Our business (Accounting):

In this role, you will gain knowledge and familiarity with some accounting tasks and practices
Work closely with the client services teams and Accounting Managers
Gain familiarity with various accounting software and third party applications

Requirements and Qualifications:

Ability to work remote, this is a fully remote position
Strong organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to provide verbal and written information, with clear instructions as to the processes
Must have strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and handle a heavy workload in order to be able to fulfill responsibilities within the department
Growth Mindset
Self-motivated and self-directed; ability to work independently
Incredible attention to detail
Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to investigate and analyze information and draw conclusions
Strong project management skills
Ability to find clarity in ambiguous situations
Proven success in an Administrative Support or Operations role
Quickbooks experience (a PLUS!)
Bookkeeping experience (a PLUS!)
