We are currently seeking on-site interpreters for assignments in the Maryland area . If you speak Amharic , this role is an excellent opportunity to use your language skills and support your local community.

Responsibilities

Provide in-person interpretation between English and Amharic

Support medical, legal, governmental, and community settings

Maintain professionalism, accuracy, and confidentiality

Requirements

Academic-level fluency in English and Amharic

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Must be 18+ years old

Ability to commute to Maryland for onsite assignments

Willingness to complete a drug screening and background check

No prior interpreting experience? Not a problem — training and orientation provided!

This is a remote freelance opportunity for experienced interpreters interested in supporting legal proceedings through professional video interpretation services.
