Full Job Description

A well-respected professional services company is seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Email Marketing Manager to lead the execution, optimization, and operational management of our email marketing programs. This role is responsible for building, deploying, and enhancing email campaigns that support customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and subscription growth.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud with a passion for delivering highly personalized customer experiences. This individual will partner closely with Marketing leadership, Product Management, Revenue Operations, and Creative teams to execute email programs while ensuring operational excellence, scalability, and measurable business impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Email Campaign Management

· Build, deploy, and manage email campaigns across prospect, customer, and subscriber audiences.

· Execute promotional, transactional, lifecycle, nurture, retention, and renewal email programs.

· Manage campaign calendars, audience segmentation, scheduling, and deployment.

· Ensure all campaigns are delivered accurately and on time.

Salesforce Marketing Cloud Ownership

· Serve as the primary power user and administrator for Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

· Build and maintain customer journeys, automations, data extensions, triggered sends, and dynamic content experiences.

· Manage platform configuration and support integrations with CRM and other marketing technologies.

· Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize platform performance.

Personalization & Automation

· Develop and implement personalized customer experiences using AMPscript, dynamic content, and behavioral triggers.

· Build scalable automated journeys that improve customer engagement and conversion rates.

· Support lifecycle marketing initiatives through advanced segmentation and audience targeting.

Data & Audience Management

· Create and manage customer segments based on behavioral, demographic, and subscription data.

· Partner with Analytics teams to maintain data integrity and campaign accuracy.

· Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations and consent management best practices.

Testing, Optimization & Reporting

· Conduct rigorous quality assurance testing before campaign deployment.

· Execute A/B testing initiatives to improve engagement, click-through, and conversion rates.

· Monitor and report on key email marketing KPIs, including deliverability, opens, clicks, conversions, retention, and revenue contribution.

· Provide actionable recommendations to improve performance and customer experience.

Required Qualifications:

· 5+ years of email marketing experience with a strong focus on campaign execution and marketing automation.

· 2+ years of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience.

· Proficiency in AMPscript, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Data Extensions.

· Experience building dynamic and personalized email experiences.

· Strong understanding of segmentation, email deliverability, and lifecycle marketing best practices.

· Experience with marketing analytics and performance reporting.

· Exceptional project management and organizational skills.

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

· Preferred Qualifications

· Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Certification.

· Experience with SQL and data management within Marketing Cloud.

· Experience integrating Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud.

· Background in B2B SaaS, subscriptions, membership programs, or digital learning organizations.

· Experience with customer retention and expansion marketing strategies.
