As a Medical Writer II at CLD, you will combine your love of science, words, and writing skills to develop high-quality training materials for leading biotech, pharmaceutical, and medical companies. This role is ideal for a writer with previous medical or technical writing experience, who is ready to take on a broad range of medical writing assignments across therapeutic areas. By helping our customers see more clearly, you will help them change patients’ lives.

Desired Skills & Experience
- Strong writing skills, with the ability to translate scientific and medical information into clear, accurate, and compelling content that is appropriate for the intended audience.
- Ability to research primary literature and identify appropriate sources to support medical content; accurately cite the content you are creating back to primary sources
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under deadline pressures while maintaining accuracy, attention to detail, and flexibility.
- Ability to follow project guidance, apply feedback, and continue building independence across assignments.
- Fastidious attention to detail
- Computer literacy; proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat preferred.
Requirements
- BS/BA in life sciences, language arts, or a related field.
- Excellent writing skills.
- Previous relevant experience in medical writing, technical writing, scientific communications, pharmaceutical/biotech training, or a related field.
- Ability to develop medical content with direct guidance while demonstrating increasing independence and judgment.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
