Lifetime Residual Commissions — Guaranteed
Your residual commission on every active customer you bring to Stratelegy continues for the lifetime of the agent. Retirement does not end it. Stepping back from active selling does not end it. As long as your customers are active and paying, you earn — for life. This right is formally guaranteed in your agent agreement.
Book of Business Transfer Rights
Under Addendum A, you have the formal contractual right to sell your entire book of business to a qualified buyer at any time during your lifetime — at a price you set. Stratelegy has a 30-day Right of First Offer. If we pass, you go freely to market. No transfer fee. No permission required beyond the contractual process.
At standard industry multiples of 24x to 48x monthly residuals, a book generating $5,000/month is worth $120,000 to $240,000. A book generating $10,000/month is worth $240,000 to $480,000. That is not a commission check. That is a retirement asset.
Family Succession Rights
Under Addendum B, you can designate a qualifying family member — spouse, child, or parent — to receive your commission stream upon your death or permanent incapacitation. In writing. In the contract.
Company-Paid Life Insurance Program
When your Commissionable MRR reaches and sustains a qualifying threshold, Stratelegy funds a company-paid life insurance policy on your life. Stratelegy pays every premium. You pay nothing. The policy is designed to fund our obligation to continue paying your residuals to your family if something happens to you. To our knowledge, no other UCaaS supplier offers this to their agents.
Change of Control Protection — 24x Buyout
If Stratelegy is ever acquired, the successor entity must either assume all of your commission obligations in writing before closing — or offer you a lump-sum buyout at 24 times your average monthly commission. If neither happens, Stratelegy continues your commission payments from transaction proceeds for 18 months. This is a three-option waterfall written into your contract. Not a promise. A provision.
Recruiting Override Commission
When you introduce other independent telecom agents to Stratelegy and they are approved and activated, you earn a 2% override on their Commissionable MRR for as long as they remain active. Single-tier, fully disclosed, formally documented. Build your own network within the program and earn on what they produce.

The benefits above — lifetime residuals in writing, 30x buyout protection, company-paid life insurance, recruiting override — are only available now.
The Independent Agent Program — with lifetime residuals, book transfer rights, and family succession rights — remains open after the Affiliate Program closes. But the Affiliate Program benefits are exclusive to the first 25 agents who execute the Stratelegy Affiliate Agent Agreement.
What You Will Do
- Prospect, qualify, and close businesses in your market on Stratelegy’s UCaaS, CCaaS, and POTS Replacement solutions.
- Identify businesses running aging or unsupported on-premise phone systems and educate them on the risk and the Stratelegy solution.
- Identify businesses with legacy copper POTS lines — fire panels, elevator phones, emergency call boxes, fax machines — and present Stratelegy’s 4G LTE POTS Replacement solution.
- Build and maintain a pipeline using your existing network, direct prospecting, cold calling, referrals, and digital outreach.
- Manage your customer relationships post-sale to protect your residual income and reduce churn.
- Recruit other qualified telecom agents into the Stratelegy program to build your override commission stream.
- Represent Stratelegy accurately and professionally in all customer interactions, consistent with the Affiliate Agent Agreement.
What We Are Looking For
We are not looking for people who want a job. We are looking for people who want to build something.
Required
✓ Minimum 2 years of direct outside sales experience in telecommunications, UCaaS, VoIP, cloud communications, or related technology field.
✓ Demonstrated track record of prospecting, qualifying, and closing B2B sales.
✓ Self-directed and self-motivated — this role requires you to create your own opportunities without a sales manager or lead generation team behind you.
✓ Professional communication skills — written, verbal, and in-person.
✓ Ability to conduct professional in-person business visits and presentations.
✓ Strong relationship-building skills and a natural ability to earn trust quickly.
✓ Proficiency with email, CRM tools, and basic business technology.
Strongly Preferred
✓ Existing relationships with business owners, IT managers, operations leaders, or facilities managers in your market.
✓ Prior experience as an independent telecom agent, VAR, or channel sales professional.
✓ Familiarity with UCaaS, hosted PBX, SIP trunking, or cloud communications platforms.
✓ Knowledge of POTS replacement, LTE cellular gateways, or life-safety communication requirements.
✓ Experience with Avaya, Mitel, Cisco, or other legacy on-premise phone system environments.
✓ Existing book of business with transferable customer relationships.
✓ Former business owner or operator.
Nice to Have
✓ College degree in business, communications, technology, or related field (not required).
✓ Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar CRM platforms.
✓ Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, UCaaS integration, or enterprise collaboration tools.
