Overview:

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airport Technology Research (ATR) Program is seeking a Full-Stack Software Developer to design, develop, deploy, and maintain a portfolio management dashboard supporting more than 100 research projects across multiple research divisions.

The developer will build a secure, web-based dashboard that provides executive-level visibility into project status, milestones, deliverables, risks, and portfolio health metrics. The solution will support dashboard visualization, reporting, workflow automation, and future integration with enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop responsive web-based dashboards and reporting applications
Build and maintain data models supporting project, milestone, deliverable, and portfolio reporting
Develop APIs and data services to support dashboard functionality
Implement status calculation engines and automated business logic
Create executive, section-level, and project-level dashboard views\
Configure authentication and role-based access controls
Integrate applications with SharePoint, Teams, and Microsoft services
Evaluate and implement containerized deployments using Docker
Assess cloud-hosting options including AWS EC2 and Microsoft environments
Optimize application performance and scalability
Produce technical documentation and deployment guides
Support demonstrations, testing, and production deployment activities

Required Skills

JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS
React, Angular, Vue.js, or similar front-end frameworks
REST API development
PostgreSQL or SQL Server
Docker containerization
