Full Job Description

Epic Credentialed Trainer (CT) – Remote

Location: Remote
Pay Rate: $30–$35 per hour (W2)
Client: Health Data Movers
Employment Type: Contract (W2)
Remote with potential travel for go-live support as needed

Required Qualifications

Ability to obtain Epic Credentialed Trainer (CT) status within 6 weeks of assignment.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
Flexible and adaptable to changing training needs.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Zoom.
Passion for healthcare technology and Epic adoption.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate degree or higher, or equivalent experience.
Previous Epic Credentialed Trainer (CT) or Principal Trainer (PT) experience.
Epic implementation or go-live support experience.
Experience with adult education, instructional design, or learning management systems.
Healthcare, clinical, or hospital experience.
Training, facilitation, coaching, or preceptor experience.
Knowledge of change management principles.

Preferred Epic Application Experience

Experience supporting one or more of the following Epic modules is highly desirable:

Epic Cadence
Epic Prelude/ADT

Key ResponsibilitiesTraining Delivery

Conduct virtual and instructor-led Epic training sessions for physicians, clinicians, and non-clinical staff.
Facilitate study halls, user settings labs, and workflow education sessions.
Deliver engaging training using adult learning principles.

End User Support

Provide at-the-elbow support during Epic go-live events.
Assist users with workflows, documentation, navigation, and troubleshooting.
Answer questions and provide timely follow-up support.

Training Preparation

Prepare training materials, class rosters, and learning environments.
Ensure training sessions are organized and ready prior to delivery.

Competency Assessment

Administer end-user proficiency assessments.
Track and report training outcomes and learner progress.

Curriculum Support

Collaborate with Principal Trainers to improve lesson plans and training materials.
Create job aids, tip sheets, and support documentation.

System Testing

Assist with testing training environments and system upgrades.
Validate workflows and training content before production deployment.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
