Full Job Description

Location: Fully Remote

Compensation:

Staff Accountant: Up to $65,000
Accounting Manager: Up to $85,000

Are you looking for a fully remote accounting opportunity where you'll gain exposure to a variety of industries and clients? We are seeking both Staff Accountants and Accounting Managers to join a growing team that provides outsourced accounting services to multiple businesses.

This is an excellent opportunity for accounting professionals with strong accrual accounting experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and post journal entries using accrual accounting principles.
Maintain general ledgers and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
Prepare accurate monthly financial statements for multiple client accounts.
Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies.
Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting as needed.
Communicate professionally with clients to gather information and answer accounting-related questions.
Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with accounting standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
Public accounting, CPA firm, or outsourced bookkeeping/accounting services experience strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of accrual basis accounting.
Experience managing multiple client accounts and competing deadlines.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and/or other accounting software.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
