Job Summary
Join our dynamic non-profit organization as a Charity Fundraiser, where your passion for making a difference meets your talent for strategic outreach and relationship building. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive impactful fundraising initiatives, connect with generous donors, and contribute to meaningful causes. As a fundraiser, you will leverage your expertise in digital marketing, database management, and donor relations to maximize funds raised through innovative campaigns and personalized engagement. Your efforts will directly support our mission to create positive change in communities while enjoying the flexibility of a commission-based structure that rewards your success.

Compensation

Up to 50% of all non-restricted funds procured in fundraising plus any awarded bonuses.

Duties

Develop and implement strategic fundraising plans to meet organizational goals, utilizing research and market analysis to identify new opportunities.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with donors, alumni, partners, and community stakeholders through personalized communication and exceptional customer service.
Manage donor databases and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software such as Raiser's Edge to track contributions, segment audiences, and analyze giving patterns.
Write compelling grant proposals and fundraising appeals that clearly articulate our mission, impact stories, and funding needs.
Utilize social media marketing, digital marketing tools, and public relations strategies to promote fundraising campaigns across multiple platforms.
Coordinate fundraising events, online campaigns, and outreach initiatives while managing project timelines using effective project management techniques.
Handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism, ensuring compliance with privacy policies and donor confidentiality standards.

Skills

Extensive experience with databases such as Raiser's Edge or similar CRM software for donor management and reporting.
Strong strategic planning skills to develop innovative fundraising approaches aligned with organizational objectives.
Proven ability in grant proposal writing coupled with excellent writing skills for creating engaging content.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation, presentations, and data analysis.
Expertise in social media marketing, digital marketing campaigns, and public relations to expand outreach efforts.
Effective project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Exceptional relationship management skills to foster long-term donor loyalty and engagement.
Knowledge of fundraising best practices for business development and donor acquisition strategies.
Experience in research related to potential funding sources and community needs assessments.
Strong customer service orientation combined with excellent communication skills for engaging diverse audiences.
