Full Job Description

Location: Remote — U.S.-based (occasional travel required) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000–$60,000+ per year base plus commission

We sell sunglasses, reading glasses, winter hats and gloves, BBQ and cigarette lighters, purses and scarves, and cell phone accessories to thousands of independent retailers, regional chains, and wholesalers across the country. We've built our reputation on reliable supply, strong margins, and being easy to do business with — and we're looking for an experienced wholesale sales rep to help us grow our account base nationally.

The Role

You'll manage and grow a book of wholesale accounts and prospect new ones by phone, email, and text, working remotely from anywhere in the U.S. Because you already know this industry, you'll be able to talk product, pricing, and terms with buyers from day one — this isn't an entry-level training role.

What a typical week looks like:

Calling and texting existing accounts and new prospects
Presenting product lines, pricing, and promotions
Following up on quotes, reorders, and open opportunities
Logging activity and next steps into CRM
Coordinating with the team on pricing, inventory, and customer needs

Travel is occasional, not constant. A few times a year, you may travel to a trade show — usually when it's one your customers or prospects are already attending, so you can meet with them in person and generate leads on-site.

What You'll Need

Meaningful experience selling in this specific industry — accessories, sunglasses/eyewear, gift, novelty, or similar consumer goods categories sold B2B/wholesale
Existing relationships with retailers, chains, or wholesalers in this space are a strong plus
Comfortable prospecting by phone, email, and text — this isn't a job where leads just show up
Strong follow-up habits; you won't lose track of a quote or a reorder
Able to travel occasionally for key accounts or trade shows as needed
Self-motivated and able to manage your own pipeline with minimal oversight, since this is a remote role

Compensation & Structure

Base salary: $50,000-60,000 per year (depending on experience)
Commission: 2-5% depending on volume
