Life Sciences Compliance Attorney (In House, Remote)
Latitude is partnering with a global diversified life sciences organization to identify an experienced Life Sciences Compliance Attorney to support its in-house compliance function. This is an excellent opportunity for a compliance attorney with experience in life sciences/healthcare and anti-corruption frameworks who is eager to make an immediate impact.
Reporting to the Compliance Director, you will play a key role in managing and enhancing the company’s compliance programs and processes across healthcare, anti-corruption, antitrust, and anti–money laundering (AML). The ideal candidate can step in quickly, operate both independently and collaboratively, and proactively drive compliance initiatives while effectively communicating across cross-functional teams. This is a fully remote position.
Key Responsibilities of Life Sciences Compliance Attorney (In House, Remote)
- Support and enhance the company’s healthcare and global compliance programs in alignment with regulatory guidance (e.g., OIG, DOJ)
- Draft, review, and update compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies across healthcare, anti-corruption, antitrust, and AML areas
- Develop and deliver compliance trainings (e.g., Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, HIPAA, FCPA, Code of Conduct)
- Manage third-party due diligence and monitoring processes
- Perform transaction monitoring, internal audits, and annual compliance self-assessments
- Collaborate cross-functionally (Legal, HR, Finance, IT, Regulatory) to support investigations and resolve compliance issues
- Advise business stakeholders on compliance risks and best practices
- Support transparency reporting requirements (e.g., Sunshine Act) and related data validation
- Assist with government contract reviews, grants, and FMV analyses
- Monitor regulatory developments and industry trends to inform compliance strategy
- Support M&A due diligence and integration for healthcare-related acquisitions
- Prepare reports on compliance activities, investigations, and emerging risks
Basic Requirements for Life Sciences Compliance Attorney (In House, Remote)
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing
- 3+ years of life sciences/healthcare compliance experience within medical device or pharmaceutical industry, as well as anti-corruption compliance experience
- Strong knowledge of life sciences/healthcare and compliance regulations (e.g., Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, HIPAA, FCPA, UK Bribery Act)
- Experience developing, implementing, and auditing compliance programs, policies, and controls
- Familiarity with third-party risk management, investigations, and monitoring programs
- Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office tools
- Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) designation (preferred, not required)
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills
- Outstanding professional references

Compensation:
Pay: The salary range for this role is $145,000 - $165,000. Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, and location.
Benefits: In addition to pay, a competitive benefits package is also provided, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) and generous leave policies.
