Full Job Description

Sales Development Representative (SDR) – Contract (Part‑Time, US Remote)

HelloBiome is hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) on a contract basis to support pipeline generation as we scale our U.S. commercial operations in 2026. This is a foundational revenue role focused on building high‑quality sales conversations for our go‑to‑market team.

You will own the top of the funnel, working closely with the Head of Sales, Marketing, and Founder to convert prioritized target accounts and inbound demand into qualified discovery meetings. This role emphasizes quality over volume, with structured outreach, thoughtful qualification, and disciplined CRM use.

Location & Schedule

Remote within the United States
Approximately 20 hours per week
Flexible schedule with overlap during U.S. business hours

Compensation

$25–$30 per hour, depending on location and experience

Responsibilities

Execute structured outbound outreach to prioritized U.S. accounts, including beauty brands, ingredient manufacturers, and CROs
Follow up promptly on inbound leads from the website, campaigns, events, and referrals
Qualify early‑stage opportunities by assessing fit, use case, stakeholders, and timing
Book high‑quality discovery meetings with clear context and detailed CRM notes
Disqualify poor‑fit leads professionally and early
Re‑engage stalled or dormant accounts as priorities evolve
Maintain clean, accurate, and well‑structured data in HubSpot
Share feedback with Sales and Marketing on objections, messaging gaps, and market signals
Contribute to building repeatable, scalable top‑of‑funnel processes

Success in this role is measured by meeting quality and pipeline contribution, not raw activity volume.

Requirements

2–5 years of experience in SDR, BDR, or outbound B2B sales
Experience running multi‑channel outreach (email, LinkedIn, phone)
Comfortable asking direct qualification questions
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience using HubSpot or similar CRM
Organized, detail‑oriented, and reliable with follow‑through
Comfortable working in an early‑stage, high‑growth environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience selling B2B services, SaaS, or technical/scientific offerings
Exposure to beauty, cosmetics, biotech, dermatology, or CRO environments
Familiarity with account‑based outbound strategies
Interest in science‑driven and data‑driven products
