About Dash.fi

Dash.fi is a fast-growing fintech company offering corporate cards and adjacent financial products to SMB and enterprise businesses. We are building toward an acquisition exit and are in an aggressive growth phase — expanding verticals, scaling revenue operations, and building the infrastructure a durable business requires.

We are now building our Account Management function from the ground up. This is a foundational hire.

The Role

The Head of Account Management will build and lead Dash.fi’s AM function from scratch. This is not a role for someone who wants to inherit a mature team and optimise it — it is for someone who wants to design the playbook, hire the first cohort, and own the commercial outcomes of an entire post-sale organisation.

You will be responsible for retaining and growing Dash.fi’s existing customer base, driving

expansion revenue, and creating the processes, tooling, and team structure that make account management a competitive advantage.

The AM function operates across two distinct segments:

ENT AM: Customers with annual revenue >$20m. Smaller books (40–60 accounts), QBR-led, executive relationships, complex upsell motions.
SMB AM: Customers with annual revenue <$20m. High-volume books (150–200 accounts), playbook-driven, digital-first, spend-signal-triggered engagement.

What You’ll Do

Build the function

Design the end-to-end AM operating model — team structure, segmentation logic, handover workflow, and account coverage.
Hire and onboard the first cohort of ENT and SMB Account Managers (Phase 1: 1 ENT + 2

SMB reps).

Develop AM playbooks for both segments in partnership with the Head of Enablement.
Define the AM/CS boundary with the CS Director and get alignment across the revenue org before launch.
Stand up the AM pipeline in HubSpot including the handover workflow, account health tracking, and churn signal tooling.

Own commercial outcomes

Own Net Spend Retention, Logo Retention, and the Expansion pipeline across the full AM book.
Drive upsell and cross-sell motions within the existing customer base, with expansion pipeline formally tracked in HubSpot from Month 7.
Identify and manage churn risk proactively — not reactively. Build early warning signals into the AM motion.
Deliver and continuously improve the QBR programme for ENT accounts. Manage the team
Directly manage ENT and SMB AM reps once hired. Set quota, run performance reviews, coach to the playbook.
Run a weekly AM cadence — pipeline review, at-risk account tracking, expansion opportunity review.
Report AM function performance (NSR, logo retention, expansion pipeline) to senior leadership on a monthly basis.
Partner with RevOps (Mark’s team) on comp plan administration, HubSpot data quality, and reporting infrastructure.

Operate cross-functionally

Manage the AE → AM handover process, including quality gates and milestone sign-offs, in partnership with the CRO and Sales Directors.
Collaborate with the CS Director to maintain a clean, non-overlapping boundary between AM and CS responsibilities.
Surface product feedback from the customer base to the PM team.
Contribute to the company’s 18-month operating plan by owning AM-related OKRs and reporting against them.

What We’re Looking For

Must-haves

5+ years in account management or customer success in a B2B SaaS or fintech environment, with at least 2 years in a team lead or management role.
Demonstrable experience building an AM or CS function from scratch — not just inheriting and running one.
Track record of owning a revenue number: Net Spend Retention, ARR retention, or expansion pipeline — not just a service metric.
Experience managing both enterprise and SMB account motions simultaneously and understanding that they require different approaches.
Strong commercial instincts: can identify an expansion opportunity, build a case for it, and close it — or coach a rep to do so.
Process-builder mentality: designs playbooks, documents workflows, and builds repeatable systems rather than relying solely on individual relationships.
Proficiency in HubSpot (or equivalent CRM) — owns their own pipeline hygiene and expects the same of their team.

Strong advantages

Background in fintech, payments, or corporate card / spend management products.
Experience operating in a high-growth, pre-exit company where the operating model is still being defined.
Comfortable presenting to senior leadership and contributing to board-level narratives on retention and expansion.
Experience designing and administering AM compensation plans, including quota-setting and attainment review.

Red flags we screen for

Pure CS or support background with no commercial quota ownership — relationship management is part of the role, but it is not the whole role.
No experience managing a team — this role requires coaching and performance management from day one.
Overweights relationship over data and process — we need someone who will build repeatable systems, not just hold accounts personally.
Expects the RevOps team to run their pipeline — the Head of AM must be a self-sufficient operator in the CRM.
No experience in an ambiguous or fast-changing environment — the playbook for this function does not exist yet; you are writing it.
