Hospital Surveyor

Location: Remote but nationwide travel required.

ACHC is seeking qualified Registered Nurses with hospital experience to join our team as a Full Time Surveyor. In this role, you will conduct accreditation surveys and partner with hospitals to promote quality, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous readiness.

Job Requirements:

Current unrestricted Registered Nurse license required. Master's degree strongly preferred.
Minimum of five years of progressive leadership experience in an acute care hospital, critical access hospital, or other applicable hospital setting.
Direct experience preparing for, maintaining, or participating in hospital accreditation activities.
Experience interpreting and applying Medicare Conditions of Participation, state licensure requirements, accreditation standards, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
Strong oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
Exceptional customer service and educational skills with the ability to build positive relationships with customers, colleagues, and leadership.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Ability and willingness to travel by air and automobile and stand, walk, or sit for extended periods (approximately 50%-60%)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and experience using database and other software systems.
