Full Job Description

Our client is seeking a dedicated UniVerse Development Engineer to join their innovative team. As a UniVerse Development Engineer, you will be an integral part of the software development department supporting various technical projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: UniVerse Development Engineer

Location: Remote

What's the Job?

Design, develop, and enhance applications using Universe BASIC and Universe Multi-Value databases.
Build and maintain integrations with internal and external systems utilizing technologies such as HTTP, XML, and RPC.
Analyze and extend complex legacy and custom-developed codebases to improve functionality and performance.
Develop solutions based on detailed functional and technical specifications to meet business needs.
Collaborate with business and technical teams throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure quality and efficiency.

What's Needed?

10+ years of current, hands-on development experience with Universe BASIC and Universe Multi-Value databases.
Proven track record in developing new functionality and application enhancements, focusing on innovation and quality.
Experience integrating Universe applications with external systems via HTTP, XML, RPC, or similar technologies.
Ability to learn, maintain, and enhance custom applications developed by others effectively.
Experience working within formal SDLC processes and adhering to development standards.
