Full Job Description

A global company is seeking an experienced in-house employment attorney for a 3+ month engagement. This is an immediate need. Substantial experience with employment law advice and counsel is required. Litigation management experience is also required. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced employment attorney to join a collegial and highly skilled team and make an impact. Hybrid or in office from the St. Louis area preferred. Remote candidates will be considered.

Requirements for the Senior In-House Employment Counsel:

10+ years of attorney experience
Extensive experience with employment law advice and counsel
Extensive experience with litigation or litigation management
In-house experience in a multi-state company is preferred
Licensed to practice law and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
J.D. from an accredited law school and strong professional references
Outstanding references

Position Details:

Type of role: Contract engagement
Schedule: Full-time, 3+ months
Location: Remote; or can be hybrid or in-office in St. Louis, Missouri

Compensation:

Pay: The annualized pay for this position ranges from $170,000 to $200,000 when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position).

Benefits: In addition to pay, all Latitude attorneys and other legal professionals working on contract engagements receive complimentary professional liability insurance coverage for work or acts or omissions provided within the scope of a Latitude-authorized engagement. All Latitude employees (including those on contract engagements) are also eligible for full benefits when working 20+ hours per week, including group medical, dental, and vision insurance, and complimentary group life, LTD and AD&D insurance. A qualified 401k plan is also available. Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
