Network Contract Manager – Transplant Services | Full-Time | Healthcare Contracting

Are you an experienced healthcare contracting professional with a passion for building high-performing provider networks?

We are seeking an experienced Network Contract Manager to lead complex provider contracting initiatives with hospitals, health systems, and academic medical centers nationwide. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team responsible for expanding and managing specialty provider networks that improve access to high-quality care.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in provider contracting, complex negotiations, and relationship management, with experience negotiating agreements for transplant services and working directly with Tier 1 Academic Medical Centers.

What You'll Do

Lead negotiations for provider agreements with hospitals, health systems, and specialty providers
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with healthcare organizations across assigned markets
Negotiate reimbursement rates, contract terms, and value-based arrangements
Manage the full contract lifecycle from outreach through execution and implementation
Analyze market conditions and develop contracting strategies to strengthen provider networks
Partner with internal teams including Network Development, Legal, Operations, and Provider Relations
Ensure contracts meet organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and quality standards
Monitor contract performance and identify opportunities for network growth and optimization
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting within contracting systems

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of healthcare provider contracting or network management experience
Experience negotiating contracts with hospitals, health systems, and physician organizations
Demonstrated success managing complex contract negotiations
Strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills
Ability to manage multiple negotiations simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience contracting for solid organ and stem-cell transplant services
Experience negotiating directly with Tier 1 Academic Medical Centers, including organizations such as:
University health systems
Academic medical centers
Teaching hospitals
Large integrated delivery networks
Experience building and managing national specialty provider networks
Knowledge of reimbursement methodologies and healthcare contracting best practices
Experience working with transplant Centers of Excellence or specialty networks
Familiarity with commercial health plans, managed care, or national provider networks

You'll be comfortable building executive-level relationships, navigating complex negotiations, and developing provider networks that improve access to highly specialized care.
