Full Job Description

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new clients and expanding existing accounts. This role involves proactive prospecting, client outreach, account management, quoting and order management. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at building strong client relationships.

This position requires identifying and developing new business opportunities through in-person meetings, market research, cold calling, and warm outreach. It also involves managing and growing assigned client accounts to ensure long-term success and customer satisfaction. Tracking and reporting sales activities, including revenue performance, client interactions, and pipeline updates, is essential to measuring progress and refining strategies. Additionally, staying informed on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments helps drive competitive advantage. Continuous participation in sales training and professional development is encouraged to enhance sales techniques and industry knowledge.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Account Growth:

· Conduct outbound sales efforts in person, phone, email and/or online platforms to grow accounts and secure new customers.

· Develop relationships with customers to increase sales and account value.

· Drive accounts beyond the $20K annual revenue threshold.

· Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities for additional products and services.

· Manage, maintain and grow shared accounts, when applicable, working collaboratively with the customer Outside Sales Representative.

· Actively seek new leads through targeted outreach, industry research, and follow-ups.

Customer Engagement & Satisfaction:

· Maintain consistent communication with assigned accounts through scheduled touchpoints (typically every 1-3 months based on client preferences). Documenting all account and contact touchpoints in the CRM.

· Track customer preferences and past orders to anticipate future needs.

· Provide clear and accurate communication on orders and work with internal teams to ensure orders meet customer requirements.

· Resolve issues using judgment, balancing company interests with client demands.

· Ensure that Conquest, its products and its internal teams are represented in a positive, professional manner.

· Focus on retaining clients and maintaining strong, long-term relationships.

· Ensure timely follow-ups on inquiries, quotes, and orders—responding within 1-3 hours to maintain engagement and drive conversions.

· Address client concerns efficiently and escalate issues when necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.

Quoting & Order Management:

· Build quotes and enter orders for house accounts below $20K annual revenue.

· Partner with Customer Service for quoting and managing live jobs for accounts exceeding $20K.

· Ensure accuracy in pricing, job specifications, and order details.

· Follow up on quotes and orders to drive conversions.

Collaboration with Internal Teams:

· Customer Service

o Work closely with Customer Service - 1 for quoting and order management of accounts over $20K.

o Work closely with Customer Service - 2 on shared accounts to ensure revenue and growth goals are met.

· Facility Management

o Maintain strong relationship with facility management, participate on calls as requested and provide information as requested accurately and timely.

· Sales Manager

o Provide timely and accurate activity reports

o Ensure strong collaboration and communication

o Demonstrate good judgment by escalating issues and seeking guidance when necessary.

Product Knowledge:

· Develop a strong working knowledge of Conquest products, pricing, and profitability indicators.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

Sales Targets

· Target: Meet and exceed individual sales targets consistently.

· Measured By: Track sales targets set each month/quarter; consistently meet or exceed sales goals.

New Accounts

· Target: Secure a minimum number of new accounts per quarter.

· Measured By: Submission via email of new accounts to manager on a weekly cadence. Maintain consistent growth in the account base each quarter.

Proactive Customer Communication

· Target: Maintain proactive communication with customers and ensure regular follow-ups.

· Measured By: Customer satisfaction and feedback collected through surveys or direct communication. Regularly update CRM with details of the follow up communications.

Track prospects, deals and new customer opportunities

· Target: Keep CRM updated with accurate information on prospects, deals, and opportunities.

· Measured By: CRM reporting on complete and accurate data entry in CRM.

Drive Customer Engagement

· Target: Complete a set number of touchpoints, including outbound calls, meetings, emails, quotes, etc., per week to drive engagement.

· Measured By: Submission via email of all touchpoints to manager on a weekly cadence.

Quote Conversion

· Target: Maintain a high quote conversion rate to closed deals.

· Measured By: Track conversion percentages; quote-to-job ratio showing a strong performance.

Drive Internal Collaboration and Support of Customer’s Business Needs

· Target: Work effectively with internal teams to ensure smooth account transitions and problem resolution.

· Measured By: Feedback loop evaluation from relevant internal team members.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

· Previous inside sales experience (preferred) in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

· Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

· Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and self-disciplined.

· Ability to multitask and manage multiple accounts effectively.

· Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

EXPERIENCE

· 7+ years of commercial print experience (or equivalent) with successful completion of training program in Conquest systems and Conquest facility and operational management.

ADA ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

· Ability to enter and process orders using online systems, including Conquest order entry and processing systems and ticketing systems.

· Ability to communicate verbally and in writing using online resources and telephone communication.

· Ability to work in an environment with multiple inputs and impose internal structure and prioritization to structure work effectively and efficiently.

· Ability to manage stressful interactions and complex problems while maintaining professional demeanor.

· Ability to work an 8-hour day, 40-hour week (as such hours as the role may require), often while sitting.

· Remote or hybrid work is possible in compliance with the Company’s remote work policy.

Pay: $53,771.79 - $150,000.00 per year
