Full Job Description

Overview
Join our dynamic mental health team as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, serving diverse communities across multiple states including Florida, California, Colorado, New Mexico, and Wyoming. Let us know which state are you licensed with. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive psychotherapy and mental health services to individuals, children, families, and groups. Your expertise will help clients navigate complex emotional and behavioral challenges, fostering resilience and well-being through evidence-based practices. This position offers the opportunity to work in outpatient clinics or via telehealth platforms, delivering impactful care that transforms lives.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to accurately document client conditions.
Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
Provide individual counseling sessions focused on mental health issues including PTSD, grief, addiction recovery, gender identity concerns, autism spectrum disorders, developmental disabilities, and chronic pain management.
Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure client safety during emergencies.
Utilize telehealth technology to deliver remote therapy sessions while maintaining HIPAA compliance and secure medical records documentation.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management efforts to coordinate patient care effectively.
Engage in clinical research activities or data collection projects aimed at improving therapeutic outcomes and advancing behavioral health practices.

Qualifications

Valid state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist or equivalent (e.g., LMFT, LCSW, LPC) for the applicable states listed.
Proven experience in psychotherapy techniques such as motivational interviewing, behavioral therapy, psychopharmacology integration, and social work practices.
Strong knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10 coding for accurate medical documentation and billing processes.
Experience working with children, adolescents, adults with disabilities—including autism—and geriatric populations is highly preferred.
Familiarity with crisis management procedures and behavior management strategies in inpatient or outpatient settings.
Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations using culturally competent approaches; experience with special education or pediatric settings is advantageous.
