Senior AP Automation Specialist

Full-Time | 100% Remote

About the Position

Accounting Seed is a rapidly growing accounting software company with a leading-edge application built on the Salesforce platform, sitting at the intersection of Information Technology and Accounting.

We are looking for someone who thrives on ownership, moves fast, and gets things done. This is not a role for someone who waits to be told what to do. You will identify the problem, own the solution, and drive it to completion across multiple clients and projects at once. You will be the face of our AP Automation product acting as the person clients trust, the person leadership relies on, and the person who makes the product better by living in it every day.

If you have a background in payments or AP automation, a natural instinct for supporting clients, and the drive to own your work within a team that has your back, you might be the right fit.

What You Will Do

Apply your knowledge of accounting and payment services to guide clients through AP workflows, timing and settlement, and reconciliation. You will also develop a working knowledge of Accounting Seed's broader accounting and ERP platform so you can support clients in full context.
Own implementation projects from kickoff through go-live, driving timelines, holding clients accountable, and keeping everything moving across multiple engagements simultaneously
Configure Salesforce orgs for AP Automation, including object setup, field customization, payment settings, and workflow configuration
Communicate clearly and proactively with clients, your team, our VP of Customer Experience, CFO, and CTO, and our payment processing partner, keeping all stakeholders informed on product health, client needs, and roadmap feedback
Be the first line of support for live AP Automation clients: diagnosing issues, resolving problems quickly, and knowing when to escalate
Serve as the connection between our clients and our internal teams, passing along real feedback and insight that helps us build a better product

What We’re Looking For

Accounting and payment services knowledge: you understand how AP transactions flow through an accounting system and how payments move, including what can go wrong and how to explain it clearly to a client.
A natural troubleshooter and client advocate who stays calm under pressure, solves problems quickly, and communicates with empathy and clarity
Proven ability to manage multiple software implementations independently and keep projects on track without needing someone to manage you
Comfort with Salesforce including knowledge on managing some admin tasks such as permission sets and page layout changes
Strong communication skills at every level, from a new end user to a CFO or executive partner asking for a product health update
Grit, passion, and an execution mindset: you would rather dive in and own it than wait for a perfect plan
