Full Job Description

We have outstanding, flexible opportunities for Florida licensed Neurologists to join Post Acute Specialists in Florida! We are a physician-led telemedicine group specializing in post-discharge care to help bridge the gap from hospital to home. Our hybrid care model combines telehealth and in-person care services, which allows our collaborative, multispecialty group to continue to forge solid connections, provide accessible, affordable care, and elevate the healthcare experiences of seniors in post-acute settings. Our team conducts remote telehealth visits with senior patients in their homes, assisted living communities, or skilled nursing facilities with 72 hours of hospital discharge.

Our Providers 1) serve as a knowledge resource, 2) review assessments and patient notes, 3) provide guidance to other clinicians and/or practitioners as part of our collaborative team, and 4) complete remote patient consultation via Telemedicine with seniors in their homes or in post acute facilities in Florida. .

We are fully invested in improving clinician job satisfaction. We provide a supportive environment where specialists can work alongside like-minded individuals who are driven to excel in their practice. Our hybrid model provides physicians the opportunity to continue what they do well while maintaining autonomy and a healthy work-life balance.

Self-directed Availability: Choose when you wish to work and how much you want to work. We ask only for an average minimum of about 10 hours per week when you would be available to work, in 2 or more hours time blocks, between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. Monday through Sunday. We will schedule appointments for you that fall within your availability.

Qualifications and Other Requirements:

Great "web-side" presence and ability to build rapport and confidence
Medical Degree (MD/DO)
Board Certification in one or more of the following specialties: Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Neurology etc.
Active Florida Physician license in good standing
Current DEA Licensure
Minimum of 3 years of hospitalist experience and experience in Neurology
Available for an average minimum of about 10 hours/week between 6am-8pm Monday-Sunday
Embrace new software and technology; technology protocol and EMR training provided if needed
