Full Job Description

Cruise Travel Advisor / Sales Consultant

Crown Cruise Vacations is looking for a full-time Travel Advisor to join our sales team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping clients plan vacations, is comfortable selling over the phone, and can respond quickly and professionally to client requests.

This is a sales and customer service role focused primarily on cruise vacations. Travel experience is helpful, but strong sales ability, follow-up, organization, and communication skills are just as important.

Pay

$18.00 – $24.00 per hour, based on experience
Additional compensation: Commission and bonus opportunities

Remote or in-office, depending on experience and business needs.

Remote candidates must have a quiet professional workspace, reliable high-speed internet, strong computer skills, and the ability to work independently during scheduled hours.

Schedule

Full-time, 8-hour shifts
Must be available to work flexible days and hours
One weekend day per week is required

Responsibilities

As a Cruise Travel Advisor, you will:

Answer incoming sales calls from clients interested in booking cruises and vacations
Understand each client’s needs, budget, travel style, destination interests, and timing
Research cruise options, pricing, promotions, cabin categories, and availability
Prepare accurate quotes and explain options clearly to clients
Follow up quickly and consistently with leads and existing clients
Close sales and help clients move confidently through the booking process
Respond to client questions by phone and email in a timely, professional manner
Work with cruise lines and travel partners to confirm pricing, promotions, and booking details
Maintain accurate notes and client information in company systems
Provide excellent service before, during, and after the sale

Qualifications

Strong phone sales or customer service experience required
Travel, cruise, hospitality, or vacation sales experience preferred
Comfortable speaking with clients by phone and email throughout the day
Strong computer skills and ability to learn travel booking systems
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple client requests at once
Ability to follow up consistently and work with a sense of urgency
Professional communication skills
Positive attitude and ability to work well with a team
Must be dependable and able to work scheduled shifts, including one weekend day per week
