4D Systems is a leading Automation Engineering services provider focused on technology related software solutions, engineering services and automation systems build/ integration. We are looking for a talented PLM Software Sales Rep to join our team. If you're excited to be part of a winning team, 4D Systems is a great place to grow your career.

Job Responsibilities

Sales responsibilities to focus on our design and PLM software products throughout a multi-state region
Work with marketing personnel to create and execute lead generation campaigns
Qualify leads and create target account plans to close business
Ability to articulate 4D Systems’ products and services to targeted customers
Showcase 4D Systems’ capabilities and strengths through existing presentation tools
Create and manage RFP’s, quotations and manage sales workflow within CRM
Set meetings with clients for sales presentations/demos
Post sales follow up to ensure customer satisfaction
Maintain product knowledge and keep up with technology updates in our business areas and be able to articulate the same to prospects and existing customers
Acquire new customers by converting from competitors and discovering new opportunities
Obtain and maintain vendor related sales certifications
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and cold calling
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers
Prepare and present sales proposals, contracts, and quotes to clients
Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions

Qualifications

MUST HAVE experience using or selling CAD/PLM software such as NX, Catia, Solidworks, AutoCad, etc.
Degree/commensurate experience in Engineering or Design preferred
Creative approach to sales and building customer relationships within our business segments
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Previous experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales focused on Engineering
Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
Computer proficiency, including the ability to accurately enter data and generate reports
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills required
Ability to multi-task and work in a professional sales environment
Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and customer needs
Excellent customer service skills to build and maintain relationships with clients
Effective negotiation skills to close deals and achieve sales targets
Proven record of prospecting and cold calling experience
Proficiency in CRM software for managing customer accounts
Solid understanding of sales principles and techniques
Strong organizational and time management skills
This is a remote work position. The ideal candidate will be located within the state of Michigan, preferably within the metro-Detroit area. Out of state candidates will be considered.

Position includes a base salary plus sales based commission opportunities.
