Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business & Financial Administrator to join our team. This pivotal role combines strategic financial management with comprehensive business administration, ensuring seamless operations across procurement, contract management, compliance, and vendor relations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, leveraging their expertise to optimize processes, manage legal and contractual documentation, and support organizational growth through effective business development initiatives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects while honing your skills in federal procurement regulations, grant management, and legal compliance.

Responsibilities

Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee procurement processes in accordance with federal acquisition regulations and government contract management standards.
Lead document management efforts, including review, organization, and secure storage of contracts, grants, and legal documents using systems such as Salesforce, PeopleSoft, or ERP platforms.
Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and legal requirements by conducting regular audits and implementing change management strategies.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to safeguard organizational interests.
Oversee grant project management activities from proposal writing to reporting, ensuring alignment with funding guidelines and compliance standards.
Coordinate records management initiatives to maintain accurate documentation of procurement activities, contract statuses, and legal reviews.
Support business development efforts through strategic planning, proposal writing, pricing analysis, and technical documentation preparation using Microsoft Office tools.

Experience

Proven experience in government contract management or public sector purchasing with a strong understanding of procurement regulatory knowledge including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and UCC law.
Demonstrated expertise in vendor management, contract negotiation, legal drafting, and document review within a complex organizational setting.
Familiarity with grant management processes from application through reporting; experience managing federal or government grants is highly desirable.
Strong background in records management systems such as Salesforce or PeopleSoft; experience with ERP systems like DocuSign or similar platforms is advantageous.
Excellent research skills combined with strategic planning capabilities; ability to develop proposals and manage pricing strategies effectively.
Exceptional writing skills for technical documents, policy updates, and compliance reports; adept at change management initiatives that improve operational workflows.
