About the Role:

Hargrove Firm is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Estate Planning Attorney to join our nationally recognized team. You will play a central role in guiding clients through the estate planning process—ensuring their wishes are fulfilled, their assets are protected, and their plans are optimized for tax efficiency.

You should be confident meeting with individuals and families, adept at managing complex planning matters, and comfortable collaborating with both financial advisors and attorneys in multiple jurisdictions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a client-focused, technology-enabled environment and wants to practice at the forefront of modern estate planning.

Core Responsibilities:

Conduct virtual client meetings to gather information, clarify goals, and present tailored estate planning strategies.
Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, revocable trusts, and irrevocable trusts.
Navigate sophisticated client meetings, fostering productive collaboration with financial advisors, even in challenging situations.
Partner with our of-counsel network in all 50 states to ensure plans comply with local laws and are executed seamlessly.
Stay current on federal and state estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax laws.
Advise clients on asset titling, beneficiary designations, and funding of trusts.
Build and maintain strong relationships with financial advisors and their leadership teams, reinforcing trust in your expertise.
Respond to client and advisor inquiries promptly and with exceptional professionalism.

Requirements:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Licensed to practice law and in good standing with local bar.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in estate planning and trust administration, with three specifically in advanced estate planning
MUST have comprehensive knowledge of and experience in estate planning, high-net-worth planning, and trust funding.
Candidates should possess high-level organizational skills and time-management skills.
Candidates should have a strong familiarity with technology.
Excellent commitment to customer service.
Strong analytical and writing skills
