We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to help ensure our teams have the resources they need to provide exceptional care and services. In this role, you will oversee purchasing and vendor relationships while supporting the operational excellence that allows our programs to thrive. Your work will directly contribute to our ability to serve individuals and families with compassion, dignity, and quality.

What You'll Do

As our Procurement Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining efficient purchasing processes and building strong supplier partnerships that support our mission.

Responsibilities include:

Develop and implement sourcing strategies that ensure cost-effective, reliable procurement of goods and services.
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiating pricing, contracts, and service agreements that provide the best value while maintaining quality.
Manage procurement contracts and ensure compliance with organizational policies and applicable regulations.
Process purchase orders and monitor purchasing activities using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, or similar platforms.
Partner with operations, facilities, finance, and program leadership to forecast purchasing needs and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
Evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities to improve service, quality, and efficiency.
Analyze purchasing data and spending trends using Excel and reporting tools to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement processes.
Support inventory management initiatives to ensure essential supplies are available for the individuals and programs we serve.
Recommend and implement continuous improvements that strengthen procurement operations and support organizational growth.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications:

Experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or vendor management, preferably in healthcare, human services, nonprofit, or manufacturing environments.
Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, or comparable procurement software.
Demonstrated experience negotiating vendor contracts and managing supplier relationships.
Strong understanding of purchasing processes, inventory management, logistics, and procurement best practices.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyze data and generate meaningful reports.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Knowledge of contract administration, procurement compliance, and purchasing policies.
A collaborative mindset with a commitment to supporting team success and organizational goals.
