Full Job Description

Cambio Consulting Group LLC is seeking to hire a full-time Senior Investigative Analyst with 4+ years of experience conducting investigative analysis supporting government benefit fraud and financial crimes to support the Pandemic Response Accountability Committee (PRAC). The PRAC works with federal Offices of Inspectors General (OIGs) and federal law enforcement to prevent and detect fraud, waste, abuse, and mismanagement across large scale federal benefit programs. The PRAC Analytics Center develops advanced analytic tools and investigative intelligence in a cloud-based environment built on Azure Databricks, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Power BI, and Neo4j.

Our candidate will generate leads and build out cases involving covered funds using open source, law enforcement, and third-party data, and your work products will go directly to federal OIGs and law enforcement.

This position is fully remote. Site visits to PRAC locations or other locations may be required . Standard support hours are Monday through Friday during normal Eastern Time business hours, except for federal holidays.

The Senior Investigative Analyst will support the PRAC within the following areas/tasks:

Conduct investigative analysis using open source, law enforcement, and third-party data to support lead generation and case buildout involving covered funds.
Analyze structured and unstructured data from public and non-public data sources to identify fraud indicators and patterns.
Develop customized work products, including intelligence reports, link analysis diagrams, detailed lead packages, and case summaries suitable for referral to law enforcement.
Use graph analytic tools such as Neo4j to analyze complex networks and develop link analysis charts visualizing relationships among entities across multiple data sources.
Test the results of PRAC-developed analytic rules and models and conduct due diligence on outputs.
Present findings and demonstrations to OIG and law enforcement stakeholders while following established investigative support workflows, templates, and procedures for handling law enforcement sensitive data.

Requirements:

3+ years of professional experience conducting investigative analysis supporting government benefit fraud and financial crimes
3+ years of experience analyzing structured and unstructured data from public and non-public data sources to identify fraud indicators and patterns
Strong working knowledge of fraud typologies relevant to government benefit programs (e.g., identity fraud, eligibility fraud, organized fraud rings)
Proficiency with a variety of analytic tools including SQL, Excel, Neo4j, and i2 Analyst’s Notebook or comparable link analysis platforms
3+ years of hands-on experience preparing investigative reports, referral packages, and case summaries suitable for referral to law enforcement
Ability to brief findings to senior government stakeholders
Must be a U.S. Citizen (no visa sponsorship available)
Must be able to pass a Government background investigation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
All contractor employees must read, write, speak and understand English fluently

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree
2-4 years of Federal Experience
