Company Description

Stadium Rant is a sports news and media network. We're a top destination for fan-created sports content covering news, rumors, predictions, reactions and more across all of your favorite leagues.

Role Description

This is a remote freelance opportunity for a commission based Sports Writer. The Sports Writer will be responsible for creating and editing sports-related articles and will have complete freedom to cover their favorite teams, leagues, sports, etc.

Stadium Rant will distribute your work across our website as well as news distribution applications and websites such as Newsbreak, Pressreader, and more.

Pay

This is a commission role - pay is based on individual article performance. Commission is uncapped.

Qualifications

Sports knowledge
Excellent Writing and Communication skills
Strong ability to work independently with little supervision
Daily Slack activity and communication.

Experience in the following areas would be beneficial but is not required:

Previous freelance or blog writing experience
Working knowledge SEO best practices
Understanding of social media and content distribution strategies
