About Us

We are a publishing company and the creators of Jade Summer, a bestselling adult coloring book brand.

Our books help customers relax, reduce stress, and enjoy creativity through beautiful, accessible coloring pages.

We create products that customers love, and we are looking for a talented designer to help us make our catalog look even more polished, professional, and retail-ready.

About the Role

We are looking for a senior graphic designer to create and improve book covers, Amazon marketing graphics, and related visual assets for Jade Summer.

This is not an illustration role. We provide the black-and-white line art and any finished colored artwork needed. Your role is to turn those assets into polished commercial designs with strong typography, layout, color, hierarchy, thumbnail readability, and retail appeal.

This is a strong opportunity for a designer who wants meaningful creative work, consistent long-term part-time hours, and the chance to improve the visual identity of a successful consumer publishing brand with real customers, strong sales history, and broad retail visibility.

You will not be asked to create illustrations from scratch. We provide the artwork, and your focus will be design, typography, layout, and presentation.

Responsibilities

Create professional, polished, retail-ready book covers.
Improve typography, layout, color, visual hierarchy, and thumbnail readability.
Modernize selected Jade Summer titles while preserving the warm, creative, relaxing feel of the brand.
Create designs that appeal to adult coloring book customers, especially women shopping online.
Prepare organized, editable, print-ready production files.
Follow technical requirements for print covers, online retail images, and marketing graphics.
Ensure fonts, stock assets, and design elements are properly licensed for commercial use.
Ensure final designs are human-made and do not use AI-generated final artwork or AI-generated final design assets.

Qualifications

5+ years of paid graphic design experience
Strong portfolio showing book covers, packaging, retail design, ecommerce graphics, publishing, consumer products, or premium marketing design
Excellent typography, layout, color, and visual hierarchy skills
Strong understanding of how designs need to read as small online thumbnails
Strong attention to detail
Reliable, professional, organized, and open to feedback

Schedule, Compensation & Work Arrangement

Part-time W-2 employee position
Remote, U.S.-based candidates only
10 hours per week (plus opportunity for more if available)
Flexible schedule
Monday to Friday preferred, with weekends optional
Partial overlap with U.S. Eastern Time required
