Overview

Seasonal Tax Professional Trainee

The Tax Slayer 78 Inc. is seeking motivated, detail-oriented individuals who are interested in launching or advancing a career in professional tax preparation. Selected candidates will have the opportunity to participate in our comprehensive Tax Slayer 78 Inc. Tax Academy, an instructor-led training program designed to prepare individuals for the upcoming tax season.

Whether you are new to the tax industry or looking to expand your knowledge, we are seeking individuals with strong customer service skills, integrity, professionalism, and a genuine desire to help others.

Successful candidates may have the opportunity to join our team as Seasonal Tax Professionals upon successful completion of training and demonstration of proficiency.

Duties

As a Seasonal Tax Professional Trainee, you will learn to:
Interview clients professionally to gather accurate tax information.
Prepare individual federal and state income tax returns.
Verify supporting tax documents for completeness and accuracy.
Apply IRS due diligence requirements and ethical standards.
Learn fundamental tax laws, filing statuses, credits, and deductions.
Utilize professional tax preparation software.
Maintain strict confidentiality of all client information.
Provide outstanding customer service throughout the tax preparation process.
Participate in classroom instruction, workshops, practice exercises, and supervised training.
Stay informed on current IRS regulations and tax law updates.
Assist with general office responsibilities during tax season as assigned.

Requirements
