Full Job Description

OnStak is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Data Entry Typist to support our day-to-day administrative and data management operations. The ideal candidate will be organized, accurate, and comfortable working with large amounts of information while maintaining confidentiality and meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Enter, update, and maintain data accurately in company databases, spreadsheets, and internal systems.
Review documents and records for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
Verify information and correct data-entry errors as needed.
Organize and maintain digital and physical records.
Process invoices, forms, reports, and other administrative documents.
Retrieve and compile information for internal reports and business needs.
Perform regular data quality checks and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain confidentiality of company and customer information.
Communicate with team members to clarify missing or incorrect information.
Complete assigned administrative tasks and meet established deadlines.
Follow company policies and procedures for data handling and recordkeeping.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous data entry, administrative, or office experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar productivity tools.
Comfortable working with spreadsheets and databases.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
Reliable, punctual, and capable of meeting deadlines.

Preferred Skills

Typing speed and accuracy.
Experience with data management or CRM systems.
Basic knowledge of spreadsheet functions.
Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
