QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of 8 years' progressive experience in a related field
- Leadership & People Management: Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams in a dynamic environment. Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing vendor relationships to deliver results. Proven skills in coaching, mentoring, and developing staff.
- Strategic & Business Acumen: Proven ability to align IT initiatives with business goals and strategy, ensuring technology investments provide tangible business value. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and drive results in complex environments

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $126,800 to $158,500 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.

What will you be doing?
The IT Manager is an integrator of people and processes, a thought leader, a problem solver, a mentor to direct reports, and a trusted technology consultant to business stakeholders. This role requires strong domain expertise in Information Technology, coupled with the leadership capability to inspire high-performing teams, translate strategy into execution, and align IT services with evolving business goals.
In our high-tech company, this manager will lead a hybrid team of 15–30 IT professionals responsible for executing projects,
enhancing products and services, and maintaining operational continuity. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation as an individual contributor, demonstrated success in people leadership, and advanced industry knowledge to help the organization stay at the cutting edge of innovation and efficiency.
This is a pivotal role that blends strategic planning, operational oversight, and people leadership — ensuring the delivery of secure, reliable, and high-impact technology solutions that drive business outcomes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and develop the IT team: Lead and mentor a hybrid team of 20–30 IT professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth. Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and develop team members' skills to build a high-performing, engaged team.
- Manage your IT teams, including hiring, training, staff development, performance management, and annual compensation review
- Develop and manage budgets and monitor them for variances
- Deliver IT projects and enhancements: Oversee the planning and execution of IT projects and enhancement initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet scope. Drive the team to deliver solutions that achieve expected business outcomes and value, and translate strategic plans into actionable IT deliverables that support business growth.
- Manage the workload of the team and handle internal and external escalations
- Ensure operational excellence: Manage day-to-day IT operations and maintenance activities to guarantee the smooth functioning of IT services. Ensure critical systems are secure, reliable, and aligned with business needs. Maintain service levels and uptime for key 24/7 operations, with robust processes for incident response and problem resolution
- Develop business-relevant metrics to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the teams, facilitate
appropriate resource allocation, and increase the maturity of the teams and individual team members.
- Stakeholder collaboration and communication: Collaborate closely with cross-functional business units and stakeholders to understand their needs and priorities. Propose technology solutions that drive business objectives, and ensure IT roadmaps remain aligned with broader organizational goals. Communicate project status, risks, and impacts in clear business terms, keeping executives and stakeholders informed and engaged.
- Strategic planning and alignment: Work with IT senior leadership to contribute to IT strategy and roadmap development. Align technology strategies and projects with the company's business strategy and operational plans. Identify opportunities where technology can innovate or improve processes to generate competitive advantage or efficiency gains
- Continuous improvement and innovation: Identify and champion opportunities for process improvements, automation, and adoption of best practices. Leverage emerging technologies and a balanced people-process-technology approach to create synergies that improve business outcomes. Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging the team to explore new ideas and solutions that enhance service delivery or productivity.
- Governance and compliance: Ensure all IT activities follow established governance standards, security policies, and compliance requirements. Develop and enforce IT policies/procedures (e.g., change management, incident management) to maintain high quality and consistency in IT services. Proactively manage risks and audit requirements to protect the organization's data and systems.
- Resource and vendor management: Efficiently manage resources, including team capacity and budgets, to meet operational and project commitments. Coordinate with external vendors or service providers as needed, negotiating contracts and ensuring vendor performance delivers value to the business. Build strong partnerships across departments and with third parties to support successful IT service delivery.
