Position Overview

The Executive Vice President, National Accounts will lead and scale the company’s National Account Division, overseeing both the commercial strategy and the operational execution required to deliver turnkey solutions for large multi-location customers.

This role is responsible for driving revenue growth across national accounts while ensuring flawless delivery of complex, multi-site installation programs. The EVP will manage a team of national account sales professionals as well as the logistics and program management team responsible for inventory planning, installation coordination, and project execution.

The ideal candidate brings deep flooring industry DNA, a strong, intuitive understanding of how commercial flooring programs are sold, specified, priced, and installed at scale. This leader understands the realities of installation logistics, contractor relationships, scheduling, and jobsite execution, and can seamlessly connect sales commitments with operational delivery.

This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the CEO with responsibility for one of the company’s most strategic growth platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Division Leadership & Strategy

Lead and scale the National Accounts Division, responsible for major multi-location customers
Develop and execute the national account growth strategy, including target industries, key customers, and expansion opportunities
Own revenue performance, profitability, and long-term growth of the national accounts portfolio
Establish clear performance metrics and accountability across the division
Partner with executive leadership to align national account strategy with overall company growth objectives

National Account Sales Leadership

Lead and manage the National Account Sales team, providing strategic direction, coaching, and accountability
Guide complex enterprise sales opportunities from initial engagement through program launch
Strengthen relationships with executive decision-makers at major national customers
Ensure disciplined account planning, pipeline management, and revenue forecasting
Support the team in securing large, multi-site programs and enterprise-level agreements

Turnkey Program Execution & Logistics

Oversee the logistics and program management team responsible for inventory planning, product staging, installation scheduling, and national roll-out coordination
Ensure seamless coordination between sales, operations, and installation teams
Align sales commitments with operational capacity to ensure reliable program execution
Drive continuous improvement in project delivery, installation logistics, and customer experience
Manage risks related to scheduling, labor availability, inventory flow, and installation quality

Customer Experience & Strategic Relationships

Serve as an executive sponsor for key national accounts
Ensure customers receive consistent execution across all locations
Maintain strong relationships with procurement, facilities, construction, and design leadership within national clients
Lead executive business reviews and strategic planning with key customers
Position the company as a trusted partner for large-scale turnkey solutions

Qualifications

15+ years of leadership experience in national account sales, enterprise sales, or strategic account management
Deep flooring industry DNA, including a strong understanding of commercial flooring products, specifications, installation processes, and national roll-out programs
Significant experience selling to and managing large national customers with multi-location footprints
Experience leading both sales teams and operational delivery functions
Strong understanding of turnkey program execution, including installation logistics and project coordination
Background in commercial flooring, building materials, construction services, or commercial interiors strongly preferred
Proven track record of driving significant revenue growth through national accounts
Strong financial and operational acumen
Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus

Travel

Approximately 20-25% travel expected to support national customers and major programs.

Salary Range: $175,000 to $210,000 annual

The base salary for this position may vary based on factors such as location, training, skills, and relevant experience. This position may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, incentive, or commissions. Bonus or incentive programs are subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
