Job Title: Project Manager – Engineering & Construction
Location: Amarillo, TX (Remote)
Job Type: 2-Year Contract
Pay Rate: $50.00–$60.00/hour
Work Schedule: Remote (Offsite) with occasional travel

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple utility infrastructure projects for a single client. This role will manage the engineering and construction of a new substation, substation upgrades, transmission line replacements, and distribution line replacement projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong project management background in engineering, utility, or construction environments and be comfortable coordinating cross-functional teams while driving projects to successful completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of utility infrastructure projects, including:
- New substation construction
- Substation upgrades
- Transmission line replacement
- Distribution line replacement
Coordinate project activities from initiation through completion, ensuring projects remain on schedule and within scope.
Lead project meetings by preparing agendas, documenting meeting minutes, and tracking action items.
Monitor project schedules, milestones, budgets, and deliverables while providing regular status updates to stakeholders.
Collaborate with engineering, construction, and client teams to resolve project issues and maintain project momentum.
Support technical discussions and coordinate with subject matter experts to address project-related challenges.
Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure compliance with project requirements.
Travel occasionally to project sites in Dalhart, TX, as needed. Travel expenses will be reimbursed.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably supporting engineering, utility, or construction projects.
Experience managing capital infrastructure, transmission, distribution, or substation projects is highly preferred.
Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively coordinate multiple stakeholders.
Experience facilitating meetings, tracking action items, and managing project documentation.
Ability to identify project risks and assist in resolving technical and scheduling issues.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software (Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar) is preferred.
