Full Job Description

The Regional Nutrition Account Manager manages regional accounts, developing and implementing sales strategies for the Home Parenteral Nutrition (HPN) division, building relationships with patients and healthcare providers, promoting HPN products and services, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

*AvevoRx is seeking to fill one Regional Nutrition Account Manager position to manage accounts for the Southeast territory. Candidates are required to live in North Carolina or Georgia must be willing to travel up to 50%.*

Job Specific Requirements:

Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to drive the adoption and utilization of Home Parenteral Nutrition (HPN) products and services.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, dietitians, clinical teams, hospital discharge planners, home healthcare providers, and insurers.
Identify new business opportunities within healthcare facilities, home infusion providers, and physician offices, as well as cultivate relationships with existing customers to expand the product line.
Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets by proactively engaging with healthcare professionals and offering tailored solutions for patients requiring HPN therapy.
Conduct regular in-person or virtual meetings with healthcare providers, offering educational resources, demonstrations, and ongoing support.
Serve as a subject matter expert for Home Parenteral Nutrition (HPN), staying current with industry trends, product innovations, and competitive landscape.
Provide comprehensive product training and clinical support to healthcare providers and patients to ensure proper product usage and optimal patient outcomes.
Educate healthcare professionals on the benefits of HPN, patient eligibility, and reimbursement processes.
Provide exemplary customer service, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting challenges, and ensuring the smooth execution of home care programs.
Act as the primary liaison between the company, healthcare teams, and patients, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution of issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, operations, clinical support) to enhance customer experience and satisfaction.
Represent AvevoRx at local and regional healthcare conferences, promoting the company’s HPN services and educating healthcare professionals.
Monitor and report on sales activity, market conditions, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to senior management.
Utilize CRM software and other tools to track sales, forecast opportunities, and analyze performance metrics.
Travel within the designated region, including overnight travel as necessary, to meet with customers, attend conferences, and participate in corporate training.

Job Requirements:

Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures and ensures services are provided in a manner consistent with established standards of practice, federal and state regulations, and accreditation standards.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
Demonstrates a high degree of personal responsibility regarding accuracy and quality of work.
Identifies and resolves customer service issues; gives high priority to customer satisfaction and needs.
Maintains confidentiality of patient and competitive information.
Participates in the AvevoRx Quality Assurance Program.
Completes work on schedule.
All other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Standing, walking, and bending for long period of time.
Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.
Immunizations as required and TB test/screen annually.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Nutrition, Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field
Registered Dietitian or Registered Nurse with a minimum of 3 years' experience in Home Parenteral Nutrition.
Extensive knowledge of Home Parenteral Nutrition (HPN), home infusion, pertinent disease states, and related medical terminology.
Experience applying Sales and Marketing principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products and services.
Experience in account management, home infusion sales, or nutrition sales.
Proficiency in CRM software.
Strong understanding of medical terminology
Strong organizational and management skills
Ability to analyze data and market trends.
Proficiency in computer skills including excel and Teams.
Strong motivation to achieve results and meet goals.
Maintain a clean driving record and use a vehicle and/or airplane for travel as required. Overnight travel up to 50%.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience and knowledge with the products and therapies provided.
CNSC, CRNI or other advanced certification and/or specialized training in nutrition support.
Functional knowledge and use of CareTend.
Bilingual abilities, particularly Spanish.
