Job Overview

MDC is seeking six Senior Real Property Analysts to support nationwide Air Force real-property inventory, physical verification, record-to-asset matching, evidence capture, blank-field research, DAF Form 914 comparison, KSD organization, and controlled data-correction support. The role serves within a stable four-person team led by a Travel Lead / SSHO and requires extensive travel plus disciplined home-office documentation and QC work.

Responsibilities

Perform senior real-property judgment, physical validation, interviews, discrepancy analysis and installation-level completion review.
Support team continuity by cross-training in evidence capture and package production while preserving approval and independent-QC boundaries.
Prepare installation work packages by reviewing available asset lists, blanks, KSDs, maps, facility folders, discrepancies, access restrictions, and local instructions.
Perform field observation, asset identification, measurements or coordinates when required, authorized photographs, evidence capture, and record-to-asset matching.
Support inventory of buildings, structures, linear assets, land parcels, in-grants, out-grants, and geographically separated sites within the final contract scope.
Research blank or conflicting data using approved documents and clearly distinguish observed facts, source values, assumptions, and unresolved Government decisions.
Maintain controlled field notes, checklists, daily counts, evidence indexes, equipment/custody records, travel documentation, and discrepancy logs.
Support DAF Form 914 comparison, KSD naming/indexing, facility-folder organization, data-entry worksheets, and post-entry verification.
Perform daily self-check and peer reconciliation with the Senior Analyst; correct defects and respond to QC or Government comments.
Do not independently approve or make unauthorized changes to NexGen or other authoritative Government records.
Follow CUI/FCI, cybersecurity, photography, records, safety, FOD, vehicle, flight-line, and installation-specific procedures.
Use home-production weeks for ingestion, documentation, QC, training, coordination, and recovery; these weeks are paid work, not leave.

Required qualifications

3 or more years in property, facilities, engineering support, inventory, GIS/data collection, audit support, records analysis, or related work.
Strong attention to detail, data-entry accuracy, evidence organization, spreadsheet use, and written documentation.
Ability to learn Air Force real-property processes, NexGen, DAF Form 914, KSD, GeoBase/GIS, and controlled change procedures.
Ability and willingness to travel extensively, work in varied weather and terrain, walk large sites, and support remote-parcel or fence-line review when authorized.
Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and ability to meet installation-specific driving requirements.
Ability to obtain and maintain required Government clearance and access.

Preferred qualifications

Prior DoD/Air Force facilities, real-property, inventory, FIAR, audit, GIS, construction, or maintenance-planning experience.
Experience with mobile data collection, document scanning, maps, measurements, asset tagging, or field evidence.
GIS, facilities, real-estate, engineering technician, OSHA/safety, or data-management credential.

Education

High school diploma/GED is required. Associate’s or bachelor’s education in real estate, engineering technology, facilities/construction, GIS/geography, business, or a related field is preferred.

Certifications

No single certification is currently mandatory. Relevant GIS, facilities, safety, real-estate, or data credentials are preferred.

Employment and access conditions

Employment is contingent on contract award, final labor-category requirements, funding, successful background/pre-employment screening, and the candidate’s ability to obtain required Government access.
Candidates must comply with MDC and Government requirements for controlled information, cybersecurity, records, photography, safety, vehicles, equipment custody, timekeeping, and travel.
Salary placement and incentives depend on relevant experience, location, credentials, travel commitment, internal equity, market evidence, and the approved program compensation pool.
