Job Description
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) provides hands-on, tactical HR consultation and support to a designated business unit. This role partners closely with frontline managers, senior leaders, and employees to address day-to-day HR needs while supporting business objectives and organizational priorities.

The ideal candidate is a strong HR practitioner and problem solver who can work independently, manage sensitive employee matters with discretion and sound judgment, and provide practical HR guidance across a broad range of HR functions. This position requires excellent documentation, knowledge-transfer, verbal, and written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
Serve as a trusted HR advisor and business partner to frontline managers, senior leaders, and employees.
Provide day-to-day HR consultation and tactical support across employee relations, performance management, staffing, compensation, benefits, training, and talent management.
Partner with managers and leaders to address employee relations matters, workplace concerns, performance issues, and corrective actions.
Provide guidance on performance management processes, including coaching, documentation, performance improvement plans, and corrective action.
Handle sensitive employee relations matters with confidentiality, discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment.
Help managers identify root causes of employee and organizational issues and develop practical solutions.
Support leaders through employee lifecycle activities, including hiring, onboarding, development, performance management, organizational changes, and employee transitions.
Partner with business leaders to understand workforce needs and provide HR solutions aligned with business priorities.
Maintain accurate, thorough, and confidential HR documentation and employee records.
Create and maintain HR process documentation, job aids, guidance materials, and knowledge-transfer resources.
Ensure managers have a clear understanding of HR policies, procedures, processes, and available resources.
Serve as a liaison between business leaders and specialized HR functions such as Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, Learning Development, and HR Operations.
Support talent review processes, workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.
Assist with organizational planning and implementation of HR programs and initiatives.
Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, documentation, communication, and manager support.
Provide clear and effective communication to leaders and employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and recommendations.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee, compensation, performance, and organizational information.
Use HR systems and business applications to document, track, and manage HR activities.
Perform other HR responsibilities and projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
Solid experience as an HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, HR Consultant, or similar HR practitioner.
Demonstrated experience supporting a wide variety of leaders, including frontline managers and senior management.
Strong hands-on experience with employee relations and performance management.
Experience providing tactical HR guidance and resolving employee and workplace issues.
Strong documentation and knowledge-transfer experience.
Demonstrated ability to independently identify problems, evaluate options, and implement practical solutions.
Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, procedures, and employment-related processes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience conducting or facilitating talent reviews.
Experience with succession planning and talent development.
Experience with Workday or another enterprise HRIS.
Experience using Google Workspace/Google Suite.
Experience using Slack or similar workplace communication platforms.
Experience supporting organizational change and workforce planning.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a hands-on HR practitioner and doer who is comfortable working directly with both frontline managers and senior leaders. They should be highly detail-oriented, organized, and capable of independently handling complex HR situations.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong employee relations and performance management expertise, excellent documentation and knowledge-transfer skills, and the ability to exercise discretion and sound judgment when dealing with sensitive employee matters.

Strong verbal and written communication is essential. Experience leading or facilitating talent reviews is a plus.
