Overview Listing Manager / Real Estate Assistant
The Berman Group at Dickson Realty
Reno, Nevada | Full-Time | In-Office
$65,000–$80,000 per year, based on experience, plus retirement benefits
About The Berman Group
The Berman Group is a fast-growing, high-producing real estate team at Dickson Realty. We are serious about delivering an exceptional experience for our clients, supporting one another, and continuing to improve how we operate.
We work hard, move quickly, and hold ourselves to a high standard but we also believe work should be positive, collaborative, and enjoyable.
We are looking for a dependable, organized, and proactive professional to join our team as our Listing Manager / Real Estate Assistant.
This is not simply a paperwork or data-entry position. You will play an important role in managing the listing side of our business, supporting our clients, coordinating vendors and marketing, and helping ensure every listing is handled correctly from the day it is signed through closing.
The right person will become a trusted member of our team and an important part of the client experience.
Who You Are
You are organized, dependable, positive, and calm under pressure. You take pride in doing things correctly and do not need to be constantly reminded or followed up with.
You notice the details other people miss, think several steps ahead, and take ownership of your responsibilities.
You understand that our clients are trusting us with one of the largest financial decisions of their lives, and you treat that responsibility seriously.
You naturally:
- Put the client’s needs first
- Follow through and finish what you start
- Solve problems instead of passing them along
- Communicate clearly, professionally, and kindly
- Keep your word and take accountability
- Stay organized when there are multiple priorities
- Look for ways to improve systems and processes
- Support your teammates and contribute wherever needed
- Bring a positive attitude to the office
- Take pride in being part of a winning team
This position is a strong fit for someone who enjoys responsibility, works well independently, and likes being part of a collaborative team.
It may not be the right fit for someone who needs constant day-to-day direction, prefers a slower-paced environment, or only wants to complete a basic task list.
What the Job Actually Looks Like
You will help manage our listings from the time a listing agreement is signed through closing.
You will coordinate the people, systems, deadlines, documents, marketing, and client communication required to keep each listing moving forward.
No two days will look exactly the same. One day you may be coordinating photographers and contractors, and the next you may be preparing a listing for the MLS, sending seller updates, creating marketing materials, or helping solve an unexpected issue.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare listing paperwork, presentations, and appointment materials
- Coordinate photographers, videographers, sign installers, stagers, cleaners, inspectors, contractors, and other vendors
- Schedule photography, property access, signs, lockboxes, open houses, and listing launch dates
- Enter and maintain accurate listing information in the MLS
- Review listing details for accuracy before properties go live
- Maintain complete and organized listing files
- Track important dates, deadlines, and action items
- Send weekly seller updates and collect showing feedback
- Coordinate price changes, listing updates, and marketing adjustments
- Communicate professionally with sellers, agents, vendors, and internal team members
- Keep our CRM, transaction platforms, and internal systems updated
- Work in systems including Lofty, Dropbox, SkySlope, Follow Up Boss, and TransactionDesk
- Support listings once they are under contract in coordination with our transaction coordinator
- Help execute property marketing plans, including flyers, postcards, mailers, social media posts, email campaigns, and digital advertising
- Proofread marketing materials and property information before publication
- Help improve systems, templates, checklists, and standard operating procedures
- Identify potential issues early and help resolve them
- Make sure commitments are completed and nothing falls through the cracks
- Support the team with additional administrative and client-service responsibilities as needed
This role has a lot of moving parts. You will be one of the main people helping keep our listing operation organized, consistent, and on track.
What Success Looks Like
You will be successful in this role when:
- Listings are launched accurately and on schedule
- Clients receive timely, professional communication
- Vendors and team members know what is expected
- Files, systems, and deadlines stay organized
- Marketing is completed correctly and on time
- Problems are identified before they become emergencies
