Description

Wood Rodgers, a leading engineering consulting firm, is hiring a lab technician to join our Geotechnical Department.

This is a staffed, hourly, non-exempt position.

What you will be doing

Perform basic geotechnical laboratory testing, including soil, concrete, and aggregate testing
Record and report lab results
Assist with laboratory accreditation
Calibrate laboratory equipment
Maintain a clean work environment and organize lab tools and equipment
Coordinate activities with the lab supervisor and project manager

Qualifications & Skills

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in geotechnical or environmental lab work preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Field support including sample pickup and delivery, concrete sampling and testing, concrete and asphalt coring, etc.
Vehicle maintenance

Offers will be based on several factors, including experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, training, and location. Base pay is just one part of the comprehensive compensation package offered by Wood Rodgers.
