Full Job Description

As a Dental Office Manager, do you have the support to provide the best patient experience possible OR, is something missing?

We are a thriving private Periodontal practice that values compassion, teamwork, and customized dental solutions for every patient. We take great pride in helping our community be healthier, feel better, and smile with confidence. We strongly believe that our patient’s comfort is an important part of quality dental care.

Due to the retirement of our long-tenured Office Manager, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to lead our team and help build the foundation for optimal dental health for every member of the family through periodontic care. This hands-on leader will play an intricate role in our success by executing all areas of our practice at the highest level.

What you’ll do as an Office Manager:

Manage daily operations to exceed goals including scheduling, revenue optimization and expense control.
Deliver treatment plan presentations and effectively communicate recommended treatments to patients, helping them understand the importance of their oral health and moving forward with treatment
Partner with the Dentist(s) to lead the team by developing a collaborative, positive environment to support each member’s success and development
Deliver a superior patient experience demonstrating compassion, responsiveness and sensitivity to patient needs
Build mutually beneficial relationships with referring practices to establish the practice as the periodontist of choice in the area

What you’ll bring:

Bachelor’s degree in a business or healthcare discipline preferred, but not required
Two (2) years’ experience as a Dental Office Manager with knowledge of dental practice operations, terminology, procedures, and insurance claims/billing.
Periodontal practice experience preferred, but not required
Highly effective in treatment plan presentations and gaining case acceptance
Excellent time management and analytical skills with the ability to quickly resolve issues
Excellent communication skills with the team, patients, and referral partner practices
Proficient with Microsoft Office products and working with dental software, experience with Open Dental strongly preferred
Stable work history demonstrated on your resume
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
