Full Job Description

Position Summary:

The Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating Youth Opioid Intervention Program (YOIP) operations, supporting timely access to services, maintaining community partnerships, monitoring program data and compliance, and providing leadership and support to the Youth Opioid Intervention Program. The Program Coordinator should always conduct themselves with the utmost professionalism while exhibiting exemplary customer service.

This is a 100% in-person position. Regular on-site attendance is required to support cross-functional collaboration and coordination with internal teams.

Youth Opioid Intervention Programmatic Overview:

The primary objective of the Youth Opioid Intervention Program is aimed at preventing and reducing opioid misuse among at-risk youth and transitional age youth (13-24) through early intervention, expanded access to evidence-based treatment, and strong cross-sector partnerships. Development of the program occurs both off-site and on-site. Services focus on opioid abatement and overdose psychoeducation.

Essential Functions:

The Program Coordinator's duties shall include but are not limited to:

Manage referral intake, admissions, and service access processes to ensure timely, accurate, and effective placement of clients into appropriate treatment services.
Identify and address barriers to treatment, coordinate resources, and support clients in accessing recommended behavioral health services.
Collaborate with clinical staff, community partners, and internal teams to coordinate services, facilitate communication, and support positive client outcomes.
Establish, strengthen, and maintain relationships with referral sources, community organizations, and stakeholders to increase awareness of services and enhance referral opportunities.
Represent the program at community events (potentially after typical business hours), provide education regarding available services, and support harm reduction initiatives consistent with program objectives.
Maintain accurate records, track program activities and outcomes, and prepare required reports in accordance with grant, regulatory, and agency requirements.
Track inventories, program supplies, and approved expenditures while ensuring timely submission of required documentation and supporting materials.
Ensure assigned technology, equipment, and program resources are secure, functional, and available to support daily operations.
Lead and participate in program meetings, support staff coordination, assist with service delivery needs, and contribute to program development and operational effectiveness.
Provide support within the scope of the position, including crisis response, group facilitation, care coordination, outreach activities, and other duties assigned by leadership.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Human Development and Family Studies, Public Health, Counseling, Behavioral Health, or a related field.
Two (2) years' experience in general office procedures.
One (1) year of behavioral health knowledge and experience. (Required)
Ability to read, write, and speak English and perform basic math skills.
Ability to read, write, and speak in Spanish preferred but not required.
Outstanding organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with Microsoft operating systems and software.
Ability to adhere to HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 confidentiality requirements pertaining to client protected health information.

As a CCBHC, Quest Counseling maintains a drug-free workplace and candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment drug screening. A fingerprint-based background check is also required.
