Full Job Description

**Job Summary:**

Growing Sleep medicine practice is looking for a skilled and compassionate Sleep Tech trainee that will work under the supervision of a Registered polysomnographic technologist. The successful candidate will be committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes and contributing to the growth and development of our sleep center.

**Responsibilities:**

- Conduct sleep studies, including overnight polysomnography and multiple sleep latency tests.

- Monitor patients during studies and address any issues or concerns that arise.

- Perform physical examinations and vital signs on patients.

- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to identify sleep disorders and other related conditions.

- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans.

- Provide respiratory therapy as needed, including non-invasive ventilation and oxygen therapy.

- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient studies and treatment.

- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest developments in sleep medicine. We will sponsor.

-- Ensure adherence to protocols and standards in sleep medicine.

**Experience:**

- Previous experience in a sleep medicine setting or related field is required.

- Good understanding of medical terminology and physiology knowledge.

- Ability to perform vital signs.

- Experience with diagnostic evaluations, including sleep studies .

- Familiarity with anatomy and the ability to apply this knowledge in a clinical setting.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and prioritize patient care.

- Commitment to ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest developments in sleep medicine.
