Full Job Description

Description

This position is responsible and accountable for the coordination of patient care as patients arrive from a referring medical office through scheduling and registering for their services at the Issaquah Highlands facility. This position performs a variety of front office clerical and pre-business services within the hospital setting. Primary responsibilities include patient registration, patient scheduling activities, acquiring insurance verifications and Physician orders, referrals, and triaging phone calls, exceptional customer service, excellent communication and problem solving skills around patient care matters are vital.

Required Qualifications:

1 year of recent receptionist or front desk experience in a health care field
Experience with medical terminology and basic medical record processes

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate's Degree Or equivalent from a college or technical school
Upon hire: Medical Terminology Certification
Medical insurance & billing experience
Experience with computerized scheduling or relational databases
